Joseph Granberg

Joe Granberg originally came to the New Richmond area from Eau Claire in 1986, having gained experience with other local land surveying companies until 1997.

In 1997, he founded Granberg Surveying, Inc., whose main focus was on small-scale residential development and dealing with “difficult” properties that presented unique challenges.

Over the years, Joe has cultivated a reputation of working with and for attorneys on the behalf of his clients to sort out legal matters pertaining to boundary and easement issues, as well as the application of land law to unique situations.

Joe is licensed in Wisconsin and Minnesota, and has acquired a wide range of experience in many services related to land surveying.

Jon Sonnentag

A large influence on the evolution of Granberg Surveying, Inc. into the company you see today, Granberg & Sonnentag Land Solutions, is a result of the expertise provided by Jon Sonnentag.

Mr. Sonnentag graduated from UW-Stevens Point in 1999 with an emphasis in Resource Management and Soil Science. Afterward, he began his career with the St. Croix County Zoning Department, evaluating a wide range land use topics in the public sector.

In 2004, Jon began managing residential subdivision projects for S&N Land Surveying - a division of Auth Consulting & Associates, gaining valuable experience in a large variety of projects over the course of 8 years.

Having developed an in-depth set of engineering and surveying skills by completing projects with various licensed engineers and surveyors, Jon is proficient with a wide array of technologies that not only develop solutions to difficult problems, but also increase company's productivity.

Mr. Sonnentag is a Certified Soil Tester (CST) and a licensed inspector of Private On-site Wastewater Treatment Systems (POWTs).
